During the summer of 2012 I was awarded an artist-in-residence at Rocky Mountain National Park. I spent two weeks in the William Allen White cabin on the cusp of Moraine Park and the event was life changing. Come hear the story of my experience and learn how the park provided natural and powerful inspiration and listen to the essay that developed from the glimmers of this time.
I will be sharing some images, reading from my gift to the park, which was entered into the park’s permanent collection and ending the talk with a Q&A about the artist in residency.
This event is open and free, no registration necessary. What a great way to celebrate Rocky Mountain National Park’s Centennial!
